This relaunch of Scottish Oak was planned for 2004, had not acute shortage of Scottish Oak taken place.

The Scottish Parliament had aquired the supplies to refurbish the parliament building and the new Glengoyne Scottish Oak could therefore not be launched until May 2005.

A fifteen year old limited edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in Scottish Oak casks exclusively crafted for the Glengoyne distillery.
