CLOSED AND DEMOLISHED DISTILLERY
This distillery has a tragic history of numerous fires, explosions and bombings. The most
spectacular incident was when a lone Junkers Ju – 88 bombed one of the warehouses in 1941.
The distillery was closed on 31 May 1983 and the buildings were demolished in a fire in 1991.
